Cellists do it with their legs spread wide!

Last night at the Gnarls Barkley concert I fell in love, again.

The quartet that traveled with Gnarls was introduced near the end of the show as the G-Strings; but long before they gained their moment in the spotlight, the cellist caught my eye. She was clearly the most attractive of the four girls having an exotic quality that I couldn’t place.

Plus, she was a cellist. I don’t know if you know much about string instruments, but the cello is like a large violin… played vertically and held between the legs. If you don’t understand yet why exotic, female cellists are sexy, I’ll be blunt about it. Cellists do it with their legs spread wide. There she was, sexy as hell, legs spread with a large instrument between her knees. At more than a few moments during the show, I found myself paying more attention to her than to what was going on center stage.

She wore her confidence on her sleeve, and confidence is sexy. More so than just pure visceral sexiness, her confidence bordered on aloofness, yet kept my eyes locked as she played and swayed.

I did a ton of research on the web looking for more information about the G-Strings (I doubt that’s what they call themselves when not on stage with Gnarls), but I found nothing more than a few mentions in some news stories about other performances. I suppose I’ll never see her again. If you ever happen to read this G-String Cellist, I want you to know you stole the show!

in case you would like to know, the string quartet for gnarls barkley is called “sonus quartet.” they have a myspace and official website.

Hey Calvin, thanks for commenting and thanks for the tip, but he must have used a different Quartet for the ATL show because that wasn’t her. Besides that, the quartet in question was all female.

But I did listen to the music on sonus quartet’s mySpace page and I really liked it.
