This is a film that makes no apologies about what it is and what it isn’t. This is a film about racing, crashing and speed. This is a film for kids… and I recommend you see it.
This graphic pretty much sums up how I’m feeling right now. Well, except for the tables thing… I’ve been working in graphic and web design for so many years. I learned standards compliance at the beginning, so I don’t have any bad habits to unlearn. Yet cross browser checking is still the bane of my existence. Toss in a CMS like Joomla with it’s own quirks and random table placement and you’ve got a recipe for insanity.
I guess because I’m so fixated on sticking as close to the standards as possible, that I never really learned the little hacks that make IE tick. Aaand now I’m screwed.

Last weekend, while nodding my head to the music, I had one such revelation.
I am a firm believer that there are two kinds of people in every nightclub that I’ve ever found myself in. There are people who go to be seen and those who go to be met. Now there are many tell-tale signs of what type a given person is, but in my humble opinion, the most obvious indicator is the act of wearing sunglasses indoors at night.
Allow me to explain… Beside the obvious impairing of vision and generally looking like a douche-nozzle (because no one truly needs sunglasses in a dark-ass club), more subtly the be-speckled club-goer denies him/herself of the all important, yet oft overlooked eye contact.
